As we approach 2025, we look forward to continuing this kingdom work God has assigned to us. Our mission of expanding the ARK Initiative’s audience has been exciting and challenging. The Link School of the Arts continues to nurture and enrich the lives of so many in the greater metropolitan Detroit area. I am blessed to be part of the fabric of this community as Board President, Artistic Director (ARK Initiate Ballet), and Guest Faculty. I look forward to more exciting things ahead with God’s grace leading the way!

Steve Rooks, Artistic Advisor/ LEAD Intercessor

I am so honored to serve as the Artistic Advisor to the ARK Initiative. Its subsidiary school, The Link School of the Arts has impacted generations of young artists for years, and the creation of a professional arm for The Link is both timely and necessary for "such a time as this." As a member of The Link’s Board of Directors and a part of its Guest Faculty for more than a decade, I am very excited about many of the ARK Initiative’s upcoming projects which include our Black Box Series, partnership with regional dance organizations, the Detroit Dance City Festival, and local Universities. I invite you to join us in our journey!
