Judy Milner
Modern Instructor
Judy Milner began studying dance at the age of 10 under the direction of the late Clifford Fears, joining the Katherine Dunham Dance Company, and becoming a member of the performing arts festival under the direction of Motown recording artist, Kim Weston. 
At age 17, she was a member of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in New York for 3 years. Judy has performed with many professional performers and instructors such as: Carol Morisseau, Tommy Gomez, Judith Jamison, Oscar Brown Jr., George Faison and Katherine Dunham. Her stage credits include Rhythm and The Blues, Who’s Got His Own, Perilous Times, One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show, Coda and Once Upon a Life Time and others. Judy has worked with many notable artists in the secular and christian/gospel worlds such as Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Winans, and many others. In Jan. 2004 received her Masters Degree from Marygrove College where she received the Mary Ellen Riordan Outstanding Future Educator Award. Judy teaches jazz, modern and liturgical dance at the Link. Along with her two children, Judy is a member of Perfecting Church, Detroit, MI. Marvin Winans, Pastor.
