Addison O’Day
Ballet Instructor
Addison began his training at the age of 16 at his parent’s studio in Detroit, MI. He trained at the O’Day School of Dance under his mother and father’s tutelage for one year. Following his training, Addison was accepted to the Rock Summer School program in Pennsylvania. From 1996-1997 he trained with School of American Ballet and the following year, with San Francisco Ballet. In 1997, he was awarded a professional dance contract with the Alabama Ballet, under the direction of Wes Chapman, in 1998 and danced there through 2001. After his tenure with Alabama Ballet, he decided to pursue an academic career and began his academic pursuits at Indiana University while continuing to participate in their Dance Program. He is currently a student at Wayne Sate University and is pursuing a graduate degree in chiropractic medicine.
